Rotary Vapi Riverside is a non-governmental organization (NGO) chartered in the year 2004 and a member of Rotary International, a global network of volunteers who are committed to making a positive difference in the world. Our club is involved in various activities that benefit the society, especially the underprivileged and marginalized sections.
Some of our major activities are:
- Managing Vanchetna Kanya Chhatralay, a girls’ hostel at Kaparada Taluka in tribal region of Valsad district that promotes girls’ education and empowerment.
- Managing a project named FARTU DAVAKHANU, under which FOUR Mobile Medical Vans Equipped with qualified doctors, Nursing Staff, Equipment and Medicines which visit different villages in Kaparada Taluka every day and serve the community by providing general checkup, dental checkup and eye checkup and also provide medicines and spectacles. This Project is supported by CSR initiative by HUBERGROUP.
- Organizing health, eye and dental check-up camps for villagers.
- Organizing Blood Donation Camps regularly in collaboration with local Industries and NGOs.
- Providing health awareness and food supplements to pregnant women from less privileged communities.
- Conducting awareness camps on menstrual hygiene among girl children.
- Hosting quiz competition “Brain Ninja”, Open drawing competition “Colourful Thoughts” for students of Valsad district.
- Hosting “Ajinkya” – Indoor Sports Tournament for sports enthusiasts of the area.
- We develop youth for Community Volunteering through our partners 'Rotaract' & 'Interact'.
- Collection of old clothes “ARPAN” and distributing these to under privileged section of the society.
- Organizing “VAPI HALF MARATHON”, an annual event to promote running/walking among youngsters and seniors and raise funds for the noble cause of “Girl Child Education” and other service activities.

At Rotary Club of Vapi Riverside, our mission is to empower and uplift communities through education and philanthropic activities. We believe that every child, especially girls, deserve access to quality education - and we're championing this cause by organizing Vapi Marathon, a community event that brings people together for a common good. Not only is the marathon an opportunity to promote general fitness, but it is also a platform for individuals to contribute towards the education and empowerment of girls. We strive to create awareness about the importance of girl child education while fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Through our efforts, we hope to inspire and encourage others to join us in our goal of creating a brighter future for all.
