PRIZES FOR VAPI HALF MARATHON - 2023

Prize Money Rules

Results announced on race day are Provisional.
All winners will be announced on our website and on our Social Media Channels 7 working days post the event after verification of the document. They will be provided with their winner’s prizes 30 days from the finish of the event.
Prize winners declared may be required to submit further proof of identity/age as may be required by the organizer for the cash prize which the Event Promoter may at its sole discretion withhold disbursement or disqualify the said participant from the competition.
All prizes are subjected to taxation, providing age proof and completion of necessary formalities.
On Investigation, If the runners are found to have interchanged their running number bib and/or bib tag with others, will not be entitled to any timing or prize money (where applicable). Such runners shall also be disqualified from future competitions.
Winner will be decided by the chip time and finish time recorded by the electronic device connected to your BIB and will not depend on the gun time.
All claims for prize money made post 31^st December, 2023 stand nullified.

Protests and Appeals

Any confirmed runner of the Vapi Half Marathon can lodge a protest in relation to the official race results in relation to the age category finish positions declared after the race.
The Protest Letter must be sent to the following address: - Vapi Half Marathon, Rotary Vapi Riverside, 321-322 B-Wing 3rd Floor, Fortune Landmark, GIDC Vapi
Only the protest letters received on or before 24^th December, 2023 will be entertained. A jury shall deliberate, verify and deliver its decision on the Protest within 7 working days of receiving the Protest Letter.
The decision will be intimated to the person lodging the protest and shall be featured on the event website, where in favourable. Decision of the Event Organizer shall be final and binding on all.
Timing results: Where the timing result of an runner with respect to his/her gender and/or age, is required to be updated online, the runner needs to write, no later than 24^th December, 2023 at vapimarathon.rvr@gmail.com, specifying the nature of edit required and attaching the relevant proof of change. Requests received after 24^th December, 2023 will not be entertained.
